Privacy notice

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website and by email, why we use it, who handles it for us, and what your rights are.

Who we are

Threadline Consulting Ltd, trading as Threadline, is the controller of your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17471038. Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.

To contact us about your data, email hello@threadlineconsulting.co.uk.

What we collect

  • If you use the contact form: your name, email address, business name (optional) and your message.
  • If you email us: your email address and whatever you send us.

There are no accounts on this site, and we do not take payments here, so we hold no payment data.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are:

  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), in replying to enquiries and keeping a record of them.
  • If your enquiry leads to us working together, taking steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

Who handles it for us

  • Vercel Inc. hosts this website and runs the contact form. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and basic request details in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure.
  • Resend delivers the form message to our inbox. We use its EU region.
  • Google provides our email, through Google Workspace.

Some of these providers are based in the US and may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, they use the UK’s approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to the site. It works anonymously: it stores no personal data, and it does not identify visitors or track them across other sites.

This site sets no cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation. If you ask us to delete them, we will.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
  • ask us to correct anything that is wrong (correction);
  • ask us to delete your data (deletion);
  • object to how we use it (objection);
  • ask us to restrict how we use it (restriction); and
  • ask for your data in a portable form (portability).

To use any of these rights, email hello@threadlineconsulting.co.uk.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
